READ THE WORD OF GOD
Eric and Sally Crosstalk: Our desire is to teach God’s Word. Ephesians 1:15-23 – About God’s Glorious Power Working in Us.
This is Paul’s prayer that God gives us spiritual wisdom and revelation in knowing Him. Paul prays that the eyes of our hearts are enlightened so we know and understand the hope of His calling, the richness of His glorious inheritance in the Church, and know His exceedingly great power towards us who trust in Him.
He exercised His power when He raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in heaven, far above all rulers, authorities, powers, dominions, leaders, and every name that is named not only in this this age and in this world, but also in those which are to come.
PRAY THE WORD OF GOD (Provided to us by Scott Kelso our brother in Christ)
Ephesians 1:17-23 I pray to you my Abba Father, Father of Glory, the God of my Lord Jesus Christ, I thank You that You are imparting to me the riches of Your Spirit of wisdom and revelation, and I am knowing You more each moment through my deepening intimacy with You. I thank You Lord that You are flooding my thoughts with understanding You, making me experience how precious I am to You, and the wealth of Your Glory that You have placed in me, whom You have sanctified and made holy! I thank You Lord that I am continually experiencing the exceeding greatness of Your mighty power made available to me by believing in You Lord. You saved me through my Lord Jesus Christ dying for me and you are now making me to be conformed into Christ’s image. Thank You, Lord, for letting my life be an example of Your mighty power as You work through me! This mighty power that was released when You raised Christ from the dead and exalted Him to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the heavens at Your right hand. Christ Who now lives in me is exalted far above every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence! Christ Who lives in me is gloriously enthroned over every name that is ever praised, not only in this age, but in the age that is to come! And Christ alone is the leader and the source of everything I need to be victorious in my life. You Lord have put everything under the Authority of Jesus Christ, and I am part of His body of believers here on earth and I am continually being filled with Your Spirit, Lord.
Ephesians 3:16-21 Thank You Lord that You are unveiling within me the unlimited riches of Your Glory and favor and Your supernatural strength floods my innermost being with Your divine love and might and power. Show me how to constantly use my faith, so the life of Christ is being released deep inside me, and the resting place of Your love is becoming the very source and root of my life. I am now empowered to discover what every believer You have sanctified and made holy experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all His dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is Your love, Lord! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measure —this extravagant love is pouring into me, and I am continually being filled to overflowing with the fullness of You, Father God! I believe Your mighty power is working in me and is accomplishing all this. Christ in me, Your Glory in me! You Lord are doing exceedingly abundantly, above all that I could ever ask or think, according to Your power that is working in me! I thank You Lord for Your miraculous power constantly energizing me. Now I offer up to You Father God all the glorious praise that is rising from every believer here in Your church body. I command all sickness and fatigue to leave my spirit, soul, and body now and never come back, for by Jesus’ stripes I have been healed!! I no longer live but Christ now lives in me!
Hebrews 13:20-21 I give praise to You, — Father God of my shalom peace (my tranquility, my security, my safety, my health, and my prosperity), that brought again from the dead my Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, — that You are making me perfect in every good work to do Your will, working in me that which is well pleasing in Your sight, through Jesus Christ; to Whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen!
